Perimeter Power Spray

Residual products will be used on the outside foundation of the house to ensure long lasting control. The power spray will provide an immediate knockdown for a wide array of pests. In addition to a quick knockdown, the power spray will provide a protective residual barrier that will continue to control pest activity for 60 to 90 days.

In order to achieve long-lasting perimeter protection we have incorporated perimeter granulation into our service. This regular granulation of your homes perimeter structure and flower-beds will help control a variety of pests from approaching your home and control the fire ants in your yard. The granulation is a water-activated form; therefore, have a high resistance to the elements, thus is not washed away by rain or irrigation. These water-activated granules will play an important role in providing long- lasting perimeter control.

Exterior Pest Control Tips

Blood-sucking fleas and ticks pose potential harm to your family and pets. They hide in your lawn and can cause problems from simple skin irritation to spreading disease. Control fleas and ticks in your lawn with these simple tips:

  • Mow it right. Mowing your lawn to the proper height reduces flea and tick hang-outs.

  • Avoid over-watering. Fleas and ticks prefer moist environments.

  • Keep it clean. Neatness counts when it comes to eliminating habitats for fleas and ticks to hide and lay eggs. Remove yard debris, such as piles of lumber, bricks and stones.

  • Protect your home. Establish a barrier around your home with a pesticide perimeter treatment. This treatment can prevent fleas and ticks from migrating into your home, although they can still hitch a ride on you or your pet.

  • Consider cedar. Cedar mulch repels fleas and ticks. Use it to border areas where your pet likes to play or rest to keep insects from migrating into those areas. Place cedar mulch along the edges of your yard to form a barrier.

  • Welcome predators. Make your landscape appealing to flea and tick predators by keeping grass mowed to the right height and incorporating native plants and ground covers. Birds also eat these insects, so consider feeders and fountains.

  • Let the sun shine. Both ticks and fleas like shady, moist areas. So don't be afraid to cut back branches and let the sun through.
